Hello everyone. I am back today to share a scrapbook page with you that I created yesterday. It's using a gorgeous photo of our newest little family member, Trixie! She's just 3 months old and so small and cute.
I started with just a piece of smooth white card stock from Kaisercraft, it holds up quite well even with watercolours and works great with Copic Markers too!
Using Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks, I pressed them onto a piece of packaging, sprayed with water then smooshed it onto the background piece. I did that until I was happy with how it looked, then I splattered the same colours around, mostly on the edges of the colour.
I used my Black Archival Ink and some various stamps and stamped all over the background for some added interest.
These are the stamps I used...
I used an old Alphabet die set from C.C.Designs called Jumbo Alphabet for the letters TRIXIE and for the ADOPTED word and numbers I used C.C.Designs Bubble Alpha and Bubble Numbers. Unfortunately all of these are no longer available which is a shame because they are so great, especially the Jumbo Alphabet, I love the font and size of the letters.
The January word was cut from a die set from MFT called Accent It- Months of the year and I've just checked & this one is also unavailable now. I used another MFT die set called Paw Prints (which is actually still available) to cut out the tiny little paw prints in the T and X in Trixie's name that I just love and also cut out the little heart with the paw print in it.
The die cuts were from Kaisercraft, a set called Fleur that I picked up on the weekend for ½ price at my local Kaisercraft store. The pinks weren't a perfect match, but everything in it worked so well for this page.
I finished off by using some paper flowers from my stash and added some beautiful gems in the middles, then added some extra sparkle and shine around the page with some stick on rhinestones.
I made a process video for youtube if you're interested in seeing that, which I have added at the bottom and here are some close up photo's of the page....
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you like my page as much as I do!! :-)

I hope you visit again soon!
