Hi everyone!! I am back today with a mixed media scrapbook page that I made last night, using an old photo of my daughter from 2010!
I used some of my never ending supply of scrapbook paper!!! My goal for next year is to get through what I've got without buying anymore (but seriously, who am I kidding? Not buy anymore, HAHA).
I started by cutting out 2 triangles & placing the red gingham paper behind, to match the piece of material she is sitting on in the photo, which I think ties in really well.
I applied a thin layer of gesso, then some different watercolours here & there, with lots of splatters. After it was all dry, I did some stamping with various background stamps, I mostly just get the cheap ones from eBay.
I used some die cut pieces that I had in my stash & also some Kaisercraft stickers.
Lastly I splattered with a gold spray that I had made myself, which I think matched really well & just finished it off nicely.
Here are some close ups & I have attached the video at the bottom that I put on youtube of the whole process if you would like to see that too.
Thanks for stopping by & I hope you will come back again soon!!
