Today I'm sharing this gorgeous little fox from MFT's January release called Friendly Fox. It is so adorable that I couldn't just stop at making one, I made HEAPS! Look how cute they are!!
I made a card for my daughter using her favourite colours & this is where it all started!
I used another new MFT product for this month called Lot's Of Heart Stencil, with some Distress Oxide ink in Peacock Feathers and sponged on the hearts in the background. I then heat embossed a sentiment from the new Sweet Nothings stamp set & embossed it with clear embossing powder. I stuck the little fox onto the panel with a large action wobble which made it really fun & interactive! After placing the panel onto my card base, I glued on some small rhinestones to match. So cute!!
Then I made one for my mum using her favourite colours...
For this one I used a piece of patterned paper for the panel & cut out a stitched circle from the middle, big enough that the fox would fit into it. I cut a strip of grass from a pretty dark aqua card stock, then cut it with the same circle die to get the same size so it would piece into the bottom of the cut out circle. I backed it with a piece of white card stock & glued it down to a card base. I adde some small die cut butterflies from Lawn Fawn & the sentiment was stamped & heat embossed with white onto a piece of card stock the same colour as the fox & cut out using the Washi Tape dies from MFT. I also used an action wobble for this little guy because it worked so well with the last card.
I hope you all like my little foxes as much as I do & it gave you some inspiration to make some for yourself! This die is amazing & I will be making lots more cute cards with it in the near future.
Thanks for stopping by :-)
