Hello everyone, I am back with another card to share using the gorgeous Mama Elephant Little Monkey Agenda Stamps. These little monkeys are just the cutest!!
I made the card for my nephew & I think he's going to love it.
Firstly I stamped out all of the Little Monkey Agenda Monkeys onto watercolour card stock with Black Versa fine ink & heat embossed them with clear embossing powder ready for water colouring. I then water coloured them all using my Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolours & left them to completely dry before cutting them out with the matching dies.
I used some patterned paper in the background that I had in my stash with little coloured leaves all over it, which I thought was perfect for all those little monkeys. I then used a die from Poppy Stamps called Big Bubble Background & cut a piece of blue card stock which I thought was perfect for putting all my little monkeys onto as they could be in different sections. I cut some little vines from a green card stock using an MFT die set called Leafy Greenery, to add around the monkeys.
The 'Happy Birthday' was cut from red card stock using a Penny Black die called Birthday & I used a black pen to go around the inside edge just to make it pop a bit more on the super busy background & it definitely helped. I also added in a few little scribbles & dots just for some extra interest. I cut out the letters for Jack's name using Lawn Fawns Quinn's ABC's dies, using the Upper & Lower sets, then stamped them using the matching stamps & also did some scribbles & dots to match the Happy Birthday.
After arranging it all onto my card base the way I wanted it, I adhered it all down using a mixture of wet glue & foam tape to pop some of the images up a bit for some extra dimension.
I hope you enjoyed the making of this cute monkey card, that I now have to post off to Boston so it get's to my nephew for his birthday.
Thanks for stopping by today :-)
