Hello everyone, I'm back today to share with you some ATC's I made for a swap. These were the 1st ever ATC's i've ever made & I think they turned out really well. I had to make 9 in total to swap, all identical & the theme was 'Salty'.
Here is my finished ATC:
I first cut up some watercolour card stock to the correct size & for the background, I sprayed all the pieces with water & sprinkled on some Ken Oliver Color Burst Powder in Ultramarine Blue. I did this step in a big cardboard box because that powder gets everywhere!! After that was dry, I did some background stamping with some text stamps to give them a bit more interest & texture. I used an MFT stamp set called Mermazing for the Mermaid tail, small fish & seaweed. I stamped out just the bottom half of the mermaids onto some watercolour card stock & watercolored them in using some Distress Inks, then after they were all dry I fussy cut them out & glued them to the top of the ATC's. The fish were stamped with versa mark ink & I used a Stampendous embossing enamel in Rose Gold. For the sand at the bottom, I went along the bottom edge with my versa mark ink pad & sprinkled on some Stampendous Embossing Powder called Golden Sand, it's really pretty in real life!!
Lastly I went around the edges with a black Posca paint pen & did a few scribbles & then they were all done.
Here is a photo of them all together:
I had made 10 so that I could keep one & send the other 9 off for the swap.
I hope you enjoyed my process for these cute ATC's. Thanks for joining me today :-)
