I'm back tonight with a card I just completed using the Meant to Bee stamp set from MFT. I finally got around to colouring in the gorgeous little images in the set & made a quick card.
I coloured all the images with Copic markers & cut them out using the matching dies. I also used the smallest of the Peek-A-Boo Wonky Windows to cut the centre of a piece of card stock, which I had cut from the largest of the Stitched Rectangle dies from STAX set 2. I inked up the Honeycomb Background stamp with Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink & stamped it on my front panel, not being exact, I wanted it to be distressed looking & not perfect, then arranged my die cut images on the front until I liked the way it looked. After everything was where I liked it, I stamped a sentiment from the set in the bottom right hand corner.
I found a small piece of blue paper in my stash to put behind the window to make it look like the sky, then glued everything down, mostly with foam tape for some added dimension.
Lastly, I used my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen & went over the bee's wings, the clouds & the bee hive to give them all some pretty shine, then added some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins all around.
That's my card for today, I hope you like it as much as I do :-)
