The final event for the MFT 2018 Creative Olympics is Speed Card making. You can use any theme & any MFT products to create a card from start to finish in 20 minutes or less.
I made this card in just under 20 minutes using MFT's Beach Bunnies stamp set & coordinating die namics, Full of Heart die, All About You stamp set & You Trio die namics. I also used some Distress Oxide ink in Picked Raspberry & some Studio Katia Crystal Clear Fusion sequins.
Firstly I ink blended the Distress Oxide ink onto a panel of watercolour paper that I had cut out using an MFT stitched rectangle, then splattered some water over it to give it a distressed look & add some more interest. I then glued it down to my pink card base, then started on the stamping. I stamped out the little bunny from Beach Bunnies & while I was on stamping, I also stamped the sentiment onto some black card with some versamark ink & white heat embossed it so it was ready.
I did some quick copic colouring on the bunny & cut her out & also cut out the scripty YOU from black & white card stock. I did some easy ink bleeding with the Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink on the bottom of the white YOU to give it an ombre look & make it stand out a bit more, then glued everything down. I glued the black YOU word onto the back of the white one, just off setting it a little to give it a shadow look. The bunny & the word YOU are popped up with some foam tape to give some added dimension.
Lastly, I added some sequins around the place & my card was done. It was a fairly simple, quick & easy card to create, but I think it came out great!
